Overarching Vision.
Our big dream is to whole heartedly AND with deep-seated humility, live out our OPUS in work and life along this “highway of orange” that we call the Builder’s Journey. Our aim is to model the way. We believe this REAL, HARD, WORK has the power to transform individuals, teams, and leaders. We want to grow old, but not tired, with a Band of CORE centered builders, families, friends, and clients who LOVE becoming BTL, who LOVE each other, and who embody speaking, listening, and ACTing with truth in LOVE. Magic. AND, we want to inspire future generations to build “it” even better. Together we improve.

I was let go from Allliance Data back in April of last year. I am still in the job search process. A lot of soul searching and time for reflection has been given. I thank God every day that I have a wonderful and understanding wife who also happens to have a good job. While I was at Alliance Data I was given the opportunity to participate in the BTL course and know it was the best course I have every engaged in. I firmly believe that if my boss and his boss would have allowed themselves to be a part of the attempted transformation that I would still be there. But that is water under the bridge and the real reason for my message is to thank you for the time you spent with me over that year span. I keep my BTL work book on my desk here at home and refer to it ofter, I read the blogs for inspiration, I continue to look for my OPUS. And to be honest if OPUS has a location we have found it and are now trying to get there. Nena and I were married in Charleston, SC when we were living in Charlotte, NC and have loved the city and area since. Our “plan” is that I will be able to find a good paying job there so Nena can leave corporate America and become qualified to be a teacher. Her OPUS and therefore my role to help her achieve it. I know that if Nena can be in her OPUS of living in Charleston and teaching that our life can be an OPUS. I love working and my jobs have always been a big part of my OPUS so we are planning and praying that our OPUS becomes our reality. I believe in the BTL philosophy to the point that in each of the interviews I have had so far I mention how BTL is something the company should check out. Not sure if any of them have ever reached out but if so good for them and if not they are missing out on a great opportunity. One question, how do I watch movies and pay attention and stop focusing on trying to find the symbolism?! We saw “Doubt” last week and in addition to superb acting it was full of symbolism.
